When I grow up I want to be a Blue Angel. This image was taken during a dive at Paradise Reef off Cozumel.

Diving on paradise Reef in Cozumel seems to be like diving in a nursery. This is an image of a French Angelfish before losing its stripes for speckles. Very small and did nothing but flitter around the sponge.
This image is of a small school of Margates, the Margate is a member of the snapper family. They seem to school often on Paradise Reef off Cozumel.
Yellow Tube Sponges are a staple of the Caribbean, this image was taken this summer during a week of diving in Cozumel.

First time shooting underwater !!! No external strobe or lenses, Sealife DC600 borrowed from a friend. I am hooked!
Size doesn't matter! Male Sailfin blenny protecting his territory against "the intruder". He actually nibbled on my daughter's finger when she moved it just a tiny bit closer.
Off the hook! (but with the hook) This shark has been going through tough times, as evident by the scars and the hook in her mouth. I wish people would realize that sharks are not enemies, and that we ruibn the planet by killing them!
We called this guy "The Guardian", he snapped at every diver who passed by in this swim thru at palancar caves in cozumel.
