Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

Originally, I only saw the tail of this White Mouth Moray. After finding the business end, I spent a while blinding him with my strobe. Three Tables, Haleiwa, Hawaii
We were watching each other for a while... I could actually watch his eyes follow me around while I was swimming. Stocky Hawkfish, taken at 3 Tables, Haliewa, Hawaii using a single strobe on a Nikon D70 in an Ikelite housing.

A nasty-looking Barracuda, and this wasn't cropped! Nikon D70 with 60mm lens.
"Aww mom, do I hafta go to school today? I got really bad isopods." You know this had to be school picture day down at the local School of Fish. I thought it was bad when I had zits on photo day.

Just started learning colour - Canon 300D. This little fella must have been a coule of days old as this was the best colour display it was able to achieve
