Like crystal (tiger moray).
The impressive set of teeth reminds me of crystal. 
The lightning is on purpose by lightning close-up very much from one side. Creating a coming out of shadow effect.

What lens do you choose in Komodo ? Difficult choice. However even with a macro set-up you could do something interesting on a typical wide angle subject. Hope you like it.
