Flamingo Tongue (Cyphoma gibbosum) traveling "by foot" on a sandy bottom. Canon XSi + EF 100mm Macro lens in Ikelite housing.
Two French grunts (bad)mouthing one another. I am not sure if they were in a territorial dispute, or if a female was involved ... the fight was over in just a couple of seconds and the guy with the bigger mouth chased the loser away.
A dive buddy (the fish was following my wife for a while during the dive).
Canon XSi with Tokina 10-17mm in Ikelite housing with dual DS-125 strobes.
Solar eclipse. Canon XSi with Tokina 10-17mm fisheye in Ikelite housing with two DS-125 strobes.
The wreck of Ghiannis D. Canon XSi with Tokina 10-17mm fisheye in Ikelite housing.

Taking a closer look. A combination of hard and soft corals was literally overcrowded with different species and provided great colors for a shot. Canon XSi in Ikelite housing with dual DS-125 strobes.
Seeing the big picture. Super wide angle (fisheye) shot with Canon XSi and Tokina 10-17mm in ikelite housing with two DS-125 strobes.
Balancing the light. Jackson reef in the Strait of Tiran, Red Sea. Canon Rebel XSi and Tokina 10-17mm fisheye, Ikelite housing and two strobes DS-125.
At the Altar! First cathedral (Lana'i, HI) - an underwater lava cave with a big rock in the middle rising up as an altar. Taken with Canon XSI in Ikelite housing.

It's all about the light!
"I am bigger than you think!" Male mandarin fishes are very territorial. This one is flaring his fins in attempt to enlarge his appearance, as a reaction to sudden visit of another male fish. Canon XSi / EF 100mm USM macro / Ikelite housing.
Pink anemone fish (skunk clownfish) portrait. Watching clownfishes is always fun, their facial expressions and movement are so enjoyable. Taken with Canon XSi / EF 100mm USM macro / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Spotfin Lionfish at night. Canon XSi / EF-S 17-85mm / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Giant gorgonia fan. Washed by the strong currents that change direction like a wind in an open field, the Blue Corner is always full of life and is a favorite playground of large pelagic. Canon XSi / EF-S 17-85 IS USM in Ikelite housing.
Screaming out loud! Giant moray eel getting his gills cleaned by a cleaning wrasse. Canon XSi / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Elegance in motion! Manta ray enjoying the tidal current in German Channel, Palau. Canon XSi with EF-S 17-85 IS USM lens / Ikelite housing and strobes.
Tell me when to say "cheese".
A very curious giant moray eel, getting tête à tête with my lens port. Canon Rebel XSi / Ikelite housing and strobes
Swimming with jellies in Palau's famous jellyfish lake.
Manta ray. Playful and very social, she loved when I blew bubles right under her belly, and stayed with me for the whole dive coming back for more play time.
