Hey! What are you looking at. Scorpion fish, I believe
Taken with DG-1X with YS-110 strobe at 40 feet.
hidden octopus that I found while snorkeling only about 10 ft from the beach at night while on vacation in Curacao. This was actually my first time ever seeing one of these, so i was pretty excited
A beautiful Spotted Moray... :O) ...
2 Moray Eels and Company. Another case of being in the right place at the right time. I didn't even know the hermit crab was there until I was preparing photo for printing. Take with Canon 10D, Sigma 60mm macro lens and Sea & Sea strobes
I just wanted to turn the original picture into a b&w but since i was using ambient light only it became a lot harder to work with, trying to separate all the different blue hues out. It ended up almost looking like an i/r pic to me.
This guy was crawling all over this anemone in the sand at Bari Reef, Bonaire, N.A. Photo taken with a Canon 10D with Sigma 60mm Macro lens, Sea and Sea strobes.
Arrow Crab & Anemone shot in Bonaire, N.A. using Canon 10D, Sigma 60mm macro lens with Sea and Sea strobes. This picture is a good example of being at the right place at the right time.
Batfish, Saba Island.
A buddy and I were doing an underwater shoot. When we surfaced, this sunset was displaying. That is my buddy with his underwater camera gear.
Spotted cleaner shrimp with its anemone.
When finishing our dive at Baya beach, Curacao, we encountered a group of squids. Two of these were involved in a mating dance; I was able to capture the change of color.
Sea&Sea DX-1G, natural light, depth 3 meters.
f/11.2, 1/68, -0.3ev, ISO 100, 15.3mm, shot in Bonaire on the Yellow Sub house reef. They zap around, got to get real close real slow, and snap before they jet off to another microscopic patch!
Ridges. Diploria labrynthiformes (Brain Coral)
Taken on the reef just above the Hilma Hooker (wreck). Gold spotted eel.
gold spotted eel shot in Bonaire on the west coast, using a DX-G1 with dual sea&sea strobes, macro f6.3, 1/68th and 15.3 mm zoom.
Fire on rock. Hands off. Fireworm (Hermodice carunculata)
Cassiopeia in the mangroves. Took a sting to get the picture.
I want to be clean !
Spotted Cleaner Shrimp in Giant Anemone at Playa Kalki, Curacao. Size is about 1 inch. Camera Sea&Sea DX-1G and Sea&Sea Y110 strobe on digital TTL; settings Macro, Manual with shutter at 1/125 sec, F-stop f/11, ISO 80, focal length 15.3mm; cropped.
Sea Horse picture taken in about 20ft. of water at "The Tug Boat" on the south coast of Curacao.
Under Cargill Salt Company pier, Bonaire Island
peek-a-booh
Bonaire - anemone shrimp. the sequence of shots to get this was quite long as several times I'd take a shot and find the current had wafted one of the anemone arms over the shrimp!
Junk
while diving in Curacao we came across a bunch of old garbage that was thrown into the ocean. Coral had actually started to grow on the lawn chair.
I see you, Lobster, Saba Island.
Bearded Fireworm, Saba Island
