This picture of Cottis perifretum was taken in the Grote Hegge, Thorn. Here is a wreck overgrown
with freshwatermussels. In the nighttime this little fish is searching here for food. Sometimes they seem bored, it looks as if they have to yawn!

The picture of Facelina auriculata was taken at the divesite Zeelandbrug. Is was present for several weeks and is not common in the Oosterschelde. Unfortunately the dive site is destroyed by the dumping of steel slag.

The picture is taken in may 2009 in a freshwaterlake called de grote Hegge. There is a wreck and Sander lucioperca is coming there to lay eggs. The mail protects the aggs and there is a good oppertunity to take some pictures.

Tergipes tergipes is hard to find. The one at the picture is about 4mm length. The white eggs can be found easily. I made this picture last week on a depth of 2-3 meter. I tried to use low light, because otherwise the small body loose all details.
