The limitations of live video editing are very frustrating. You can only confidently re-record the last sequence filmed and then only after rewinding out of the water. Fortunately we can put our shots together in a meaningful sequence later by assemble editing.

trade secrets! Things the pro's don't want you to know! Assemble editing involves copying the good shots one by one onto another tape recorder (usually a standard domestic VHS player). Assemble editing is how professional filmmakers work. It's not cheating!
