It may be difficult for those readers who only dive in tropical conditions to understand the attraction of temperate waters. There are all the problems and little of the glamor; but diving in temperate waters is an acquired taste that, once acquired, is addictive. For those of us living in temperate latitudes diving, and shooting video, there is the only alternative to not diving at all between trips abroad. Personally, the work of which I am most proud was taken in these less than perfect conditions.
