Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

"A neighborhood of Feather Dusters". These Feather Dusters have made their home on the bow of the Prince Albert directly off the Gazebo at Fantasy Island in the Bay Islands. Photo was taken w/ my DC500 and no strobes.
Any idea what this is? I believe it is a swimming crinoid. D100 in L&M housing with 105 lens. Turks and Caicos.

Frogfish portrait. Canary Islands, Spain. It's not easy to see them, but if you've seen one, you'll find more.

Called it SAWI nudi.Taken during my LOB trip to Tenggol Island.
Getting up at 5.30am paid off - I saw my first ever Blue ring Octopus! Unfortunately and unbelievably it got eaten before my very eyes! After one attack the flounder returned to finish off the octopus despite its deadly toxin. The flounder lived!
