DVgate Still supports BMP, JPEG, GIF, and DVF file types.
The supported picture size is 640 x 480 pixels for BMP, JPEG, and GIF formats.
The image size is 720 x 480 pixels for the DVF format. The reason why a still image saved in the DVF format has more horizontal pixels is that the pixels are taller than those which are saved in any other format.
Hint
What is a DVF format?
The DVF format is a format in which pictures are compressed and saved using the same algorithm as that for digital video recorders employing the DV recording system. You can compress one still image (720 x 480 pixels, 16.77 million colors) into approximately 120K bytes.
