You can save the captured images in the BMP, JPEG, GIF, or DVF format.
- Move the slider in the Still Window to display the image you want to save.
- Click the [SAVE] button.
The [Save As] dialog box appears.
- To change the folder where you want to save the file, select the desired folder.
- Type the name of the file you want to save the image as.
- To choose the file format click the in the [Save as type] drop down list. You can choose the file format from the following.
- -[BMP-Windows Bitmap(24bit)]
- -[JPG-Exif R98 JPEG(24bit)]
- -[GIF CompuServe]
- -[DVF-DV File format(Ver 1.00)]
- Check [Save after field interpolation].
The file that gets saved will contain an image that has undergone field interpolation.
Field interpolation refers to the process of synthesizing a frame through the interpolation of one of the two fields that make up an image. This feature minimizes the amount of blurring that occurs when you capture images of action.
Note
- Turning the field interpolation feature off when capturing images with little action can increase the clarity of the captured image.
- Saving in the DVF format disables [Save after field interpolation].
- Click [Save].
The image is saved as a file.
